This will be the new logo for this Substack, and my avatar will become consistent as well:
Notice the new avatar is a grinning beggar. No one likes supplicancy. People hated it so much that the word was seldom used after the 1780s in Britain or America. No one likes a begging (male dog) when that (male dog) is in your face constantly. It is, or was, traditionally un-American until more than half the country became supplicants under the current American welfare state.
Not exactly my style, but here is what I propose. I will offer you something of my knowledge for something in return (an eight dollar subscription a month).
To fund another project that has a wide potential for revenue generation to rebuild two of four businesses I run, I would like to monetize this Substack. I can offer you two pieces of content each month that looks at monthly, weekly, daily, and even intra-day analysis, if needed, of NQ, and specifically of MNQ, which I currently trade.
I have in the past not wanted to have a subscription, because I think it is better to offer education in ways that don’t require subscription. In the past, I have written for websites and blogs for pay. Even when I did that, I did nationally-broadcast stock and index analysis for free for over 5 years for a now defunct radio network. The podcast from that program hit #2 on iTunes at one point, right at the time the network imploded over a business dispute. Sometimes that happens.
I think some of this analysis, particularly for futures traders could be valuable to you. I will also reveal more of the trading strategy I am using to rebuild an account I used to fund other start-ups.
The next post will be free. The others will go up against a paywall. If you decide to sign on, I would appreciate it. If not, I have no problem with it. You can, of course, unsubscribe at anytime. There will be free posts that will come along, and I think you will benefit from those also. These posts will not come precisely biweekly. They will come when I think there is something important to glean from them. In that way, you will know that if I am writing about it, you may want to take notice.
Let’s see what happens! Thank you to the loyal 20 and to the rest of you who support the Buffalo Trader’s Writing Desk! Have a fantastic Labor Day!

My stock trading days are over, but I agree monetization of SubStack is not easy. I just started mine in March and is working great for my purposes. After having my YouTube account deleted late last year with no warning, I had a very low expectation and hope for my SubStack to succeed.
