If you were looking for weekly market analysis, we are still in a downtrend in MNQH23, and I need to take care of other business today, so I will spare that detail. Later today if I see something nuanced in an increasingly sideways-appearing daily chart, I will discuss it here.
Instead, I will take you on an imaginary journey of Santa’s vacation.
As you know, today is a market holiday for Christmas, and since it is a holiday, Santa decided to just cut out for some People’s Republic of China protectorate with warm weather, cold beer, and hot women, (those previous two phrases used by South Carolina governor Henry McMaster made in a political campaign in 2001) and active surf. Why a PRC protectorate, do you ask? Well, look at the facial recognition dots. They don’t seem aimed at faces (or particularly sensitive areas of anatomy). Apparently, PRC protectorate officers of the PLA are more interested in surfboards.
The other two dots, if these two make a run for it for some reason, do seem aimed at their lower backs, perhaps for a kill shot.
But if you’re Santa, and you have been working your butt off for 364 days (365 if it’s a leap year), it might just be worth a little time off and the ladies love gifts, so he can leverage that for a few days. Of course, if he decides not to import Chinese technology as gifts, Ms. Claus will be notified and there will be hell to pay. Xi has the images. Santa suffers the same maladies apparently as do Joe Biden, Hunter Biden, Mitch McConnell, Chuck Schumer, Diane Feinstein, and a countless list of other Congresspeople, lobbyists, and government officials in Washington and the nation at large.
More will be coming soon. The regular analysis starts tomorrow once again.
