Durable goods, Core PCE, Personal Spending and Personal Income are the big data items today. Market manic depression still could lead to another run at 14000 for MNQM23. Will that happen?
It broke out today, and in spite of the fact that I was long, I got slammed out of the trade at a 7 NQ point loss. TradeStation does not offer a Donchian Channel indicator, so I may actually use ChatGPT to create one for me, and I will add it to the indicators list. Somehow I need to adjust stops when those spikes hit so I can ride the broader trend out. There was as much room above as there was below this morning, and the next real resistance is around 14300. If you watched that video, the ultimate peak at 14800 needs to get taken out, or this rally might just stall out there. If not, we have a shot a new all-time highs, but if breadth dies and earnings die altogether, it could get messy. We will simply have to see.
I started calling that swatting. ‘They gently bring people in then when loaded up, swat them like flies. They were good buy spots if one was ready. Generally they were taking me out of my entry protection stop before moving on.
Watched a few mark Douglas seminar videos. Was good to regain some perspective but didn’t see anything about protecting entries as you noted previously.
